FICTIONAL CHRONOLOGY · RESEARCH EDITION

Candyman

The legend across four films, Clive Barker’s original Liverpool story, its audio editions and the official shadow-puppet narrative. Modern film years are separated from release dates, with the revival’s relationship to the older sequels kept visible.

7 works indexed25 sources

All four released films stay visible. Farewell to the Flesh and Day of the Dead are legitimate sequels to the original; their applicability to the 2021 revival is disputed because that film bypasses them. The disputed toggle removes those legacy sequel stories without creating a separate universe for every film.
