A Nightmare on Elm Street / Freddy Krueger

WHERE TO START

A Nightmare on Elm Street / Freddy Krueger: watch and reading order

The original Springwood history keeps licensed stories inclusive with canon qualifications. New Nightmare uses a metafictional setting, while the 2010 remake replaces Freddy’s history. Broad episode and comic era windows overlap where exact interleaving is unknown; release dates are not silently used as story dates.

Story order follows events within a history. Release order follows when works came out. Use the filters below to compare them; estimates and earlier scenes stay labelled.
