WHERE TO START

Ring / Ringu / Sadako: watch and reading order

Suzuki’s prose, Nakata’s Ring 2 route and Spiral’s alternative sequel cannot all be one literal history. The Samara films and their Rings short have a separate American route. Birthday’s historical stories and Loop’s outer world need their own time positions; licensed adaptations sit beside their source stories when the connection is established.
